Thurgood, A One-Man Play
February 8, 2020, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Date: Saturday, February 8, 5:30pm
Fee: $3 for students with ID; $5 for BHM & Hub Members; $10 for non-members
The Mary S. Harrell Black Heritage Museum in collaboration with The Hub on Canal presents a George Stevens play starring Larry Murphy. The compelling drama is a one-man portrayal of Thurgood Marshall, America’s first African-American U.S. Supreme Court Justice. Marshall is also renowned for successfully arguing the historic, 1954 Brown v. Board of Education case before the Supreme Court, years prior to his appointment.
