This one-day (6 hours) painting workshop will give students the best of traditional seascape painting. After an oil painting demonstration, students will learn a simple technique of mixing blue-grey values – representing the foundation of all palette colors. The workshop then will take a simplified step-by-step approach: mixing each color value and following Frank stroke by stroke as everyone paints together. Students will focus is on the formal elements of painting (oil or acrylic): Composition, Color Values and Form.
