Robotics & Coding with an Art Twist, Session 1

Elementary Kids Ages 6-11 (students exiting kindergarten through 5th grade)
Students will get hands on experience building and programming a variety of robots to complete tasks and challenges while integrating creativity and artistic skills and processes. Robots include Dash and Dot, Edison, Lego WeDo and more. Coding will use collaboration, problem solving, critical thinking and creativity with a variety of apps. Students will create customized applications suited to a specific art ecosystem.
Jeanne Wright is currently teaching STEM special area in Port Orange with 26 years’ experience in Volusia County. She was 2009 Volusia County Teacher of the Year and later named a finalist for Florida Teacher of the Year. She is quite active teaching workshops in math, technology integration, and is a National Board Certified Teacher.
Please bring your lunch and a snack and wear a smock or art clothes. All other supplies will be provided.
4-Day Weekly Rate for Kids and Teens: Members: $100. Non-Members: $120
