It starts and ends with a pencil and a piece of paper.  An artist faces a special challenge when nothing but lines define his work.  Gura deploys nothing but lines–cross hatching–to create shadows, folds, feelings and render his subjects.  Between those lines you’ll find emotions and know what’s in the hearts and minds of his characters.  Gura’s portraiture places him in a very select group of artists.
