January Exhibition Opening in The Founders Gallery
Expressive Strokes – Imagination, Creativity, Spirit
by Red (Linda) Harrison
Saturday, January 8
Opening 4-7pm and Artist talk 6pm
Contemporary abstract art sweeps away boundaries present in other styles. That opens the door for the artist to go where he or she wishes. Red (Linda) Harrison’s work is at times daring, whimsical, passionate or challenging; but it’s always expressive. The colors are saturated, the combinations striking. Textures might be created by brushes, palette knives or fingers. Harrison’s work, drawing inspiration from both nature and music, is imaginative and evocative. How will it touch you? Exhibition through January 30.
