The Great White Way has long stood apart in the world of entertainment. The Hub presents a series of filmed live performances, not screen adaptations, of major Broadway shows. We begin with Camelot. Camelot opened at The Majestic Theatre on December 3, 1960 and starred Julie Andrews, Robert Goulet and Richard Burton. The Broadway classic tells the story of King Arthur’s founding of Camelot and the Knights of the Round Table, who fight for justice and right, only to see his ideal crumble when his wife Guenevere falls in love with his favorite knight, Sir Lancelot. Paul Marino will introduce the performance and lead a discussion of what we all watched at the conclusion.
