March 15, 2024, 5:45 pm - 9:00 pm
Date: Friday, March 15, 5:45-9pm
Described as a love letter to journalists from Director Wes Anderson, The French Dispatch is the name of a fictional publication in a made-up town in France. Following the death of the New Yorker-styled magazine’s editor (Bill Murray), a final edition is created and shown as a series of vignettes in this anthology comedy. Its great ensemble cast includes Timothee Chalemet, Francis McDormand, William Dafoe, and many, many more. Instructor Paul Marino will introduce the film, raise questions to ponder and host a post-viewing discussion. Presented and sponsored by Cindy and Paul Marino.
Fee: $10 includes glass of wine or bottle of beer.
