September 16, 2022, 5:45 pm - 9:00 pm
Date: Friday, September 16, 5:45-9pm
An excellent classic movie to watch in Florida in September as the plot entails a deadly hurricane taking aim at a small hotel during the off season. Sheltering in place are Humphrey Bogart, a war veteran; Lauren Bacall, a war widow; and a group of gangsters with mob boss Edward G Robinson. Come hell or high water, the bad guys try to move counterfeit money amid chaos and heroics. Instructor Paul Marino will introduce the film, raise questions to ponder and host a post-viewing discussion. Sponsor: Chases on the Beach, Where it’s Always Sunny.
Fee: $7 includes glass of wine or bottle of water.
