This critically acclaimed film takes a deep dive into the lived realities of Los Angelinos of varying race and ethnic identities, including but not limited to African Americans, Latinos and Middle Easterners, in a post-9/11 World. The characters, and there are many, intersect on and off throughout the storyline, not unlike the multiple access and exit ramps crisscrossing above and below the insanely busy I405 corridor running around L.A.; a fitting metaphor as much of the action takes place on city streets. Crash expose the everyday prejudices existing among citizens of color and difference in this country. Instructor Paul Marino will introduce the film, raise questions to ponder and host a post-viewing discussion.
