In this fascinating art class series, your child will embark on a journey across different countries to explore the rich and diverse world of traditional folk art. Each country will be a gateway to a unique artistic heritage and a treasure trove of techniques, colors, and motifs.
During the course, your child will immerse themselves in the artistic traditions of these countries, gaining a deeper understanding of their cultural significance. They will have the opportunity to create their own multicultural masterpieces, incorporating the techniques and styles they learn along the way.
Series 1 and 2: Mexico: They will delve into the vibrant world of Mexican folk art, exploring techniques like papel picado (paper cutting), alebrijes (colorful sculptures), and Huichol yarn painting.
Fee: $50 for Members; $60 for non-members. Limited enrollment of 12.
