At The Hub on Canal:
10am-7pm Art Connections offers an inside look at the work of more than 70 local artists. Talk to the artists and learn about the process of creating art. Explore two floors of art in one historic building in the heart of the New Smyrna Beach Arts District. Free.
11am-1pm Live Music with the HubCats, The Hub’s own eclectic blues/jug band.
1-2pm Talk Art! featuring Carolyn Land with Tap Into Your Creativity. Get to know this Hub artist through an informal demonstration and conversation. Learn how the artist works, her media and techniques. Bring your enthusiasm for the arts and lots of questions!
4-7pm Live Music in lobby. Ronnie & Renie play cover tunes from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s.
4-7pm Opening Reception for the April Founders Gallery Exhibition Remains To Be Seen featuring Mary Lee Adler, steel sculpture. Artist’s talk at 6pm.
4-7pm Opening Reception for the April Fine Art Photography Gallery Exhibition Portraits: India & Kashmir, color photography by artist Gwen Hughes in The Hub’s new Fine Art Photography Gallery, 120 Canal Street. Exhibit through April 28.
