This workshop explores the Alla Prima method of oil painting.  Alla Prima is an Italian term that means “at once” or “at first attempt.”  Students will learn wet-into-wet techniques and best practices for handling materials.  This is a good foundational oil painting  workshop.  You will leave with a small completed work and the confidence to tackle bigger projects.
