Dates: Mondays, February 6, 13 and 20, 6:30-8:30pm 

The February workshop series, Painting and Dynamic Composition, takes on a new perspective with light, shadow and color theory to make acrylic and oil paintings standout. Students in grades 6-12 are invited to build on their 2-D art production skill set through monthly advanced classes, featuring drawing, painting, printmaking and mixed media. Through out-of-box approaches to classic foundational study, students will have fun going beyond the basic principles. Students will learn new mediums and approaches through engaging, unique projects and build a portfolio of stunning artwork that showcases their interest, developing skills and talents. October workshop series includes classical drawing and twisted techniques – exploring traditional and non-traditional drawing techniques of the renaissance masters and surrealists alike.
