10am-7pm Art Connections offers an inside look at the work of more than 70 local artists. Talk to the artists and learn about the process of creating art. Explore two floors of art in one historic building in the heart of the New Smyrna Beach Arts District.
11am-1pm Live Music with the HubCats, The Hub’s own eclectic blues/jug band.
1-2pm Talk Art! featuring painter David Brancato with Learning About Color. Get to know this Hub artist through an informal demonstration and conversation. Learn how the artist works, his media and techniques. Bring your enthusiasm for the arts and lots of questions!
4-7pm Live Music with Jim Bryer in the Lobby.
Jim began performing professionally in his teen years. In addition to backing national shows, he also played with various known Pop, R&B, and Jazz Bands in Northern Ohio, while at the same time, studying classical and jazz guitar at Dana School of music in Ohio, and Berkley School of Music in Boston. Jim has recorded CD’s and has written several guitar publications that have been used to teach modern guitar in the schools, His sound is described as clean and jazzy and is a favorite to many listeners of good guitar music.
4-7pm Opening Reception for the November Founders Gallery Exhibition
