Description: Sing and dance through Hollywood history in this entertaining and educational review of the musical genre from the 1920’s to 2016. Each session will feature introductory comments by the instructor, viewing of the entire film and a post-viewing discussion of cultural significance, major songs and themes, symbolism and historical context. Popcorn provided! Film dates are as follows:

· January 31st, The Wizard of Oz
· February 14th, Yankee Doodle Dandy
· February 28th, An American in Paris
