Susan Stern began designing and making jewelry after she retired from her professional career as a clinical social worker.  She has always been interested in the arts and began taking silversmith classes from several local jewelers.  She joined the Florida Goldsmith Society and continues to take classes and utilize the Deland Studio to work on her jewelry.  Susan is a founding member of The Hub on Canal and serves as Vice-Chairman.  She is a long-time resident of New Smyrna Beach and has served on many advisory boards, most recently The Bert Fish Medical Center Foundation Board.
