I am drawn to nature, from landscape to flowers, birds to bees, horses, and everything in-between. My garden is my inspiration, I can often be found photographing its splendor. I will also travel for my photographs. The unity of photography and beeswax allows me the freedom I had been searching for as an artist. Encaustic helps me take a photo to a whole other level.  It adds a measure of depth and texture to the image. The encaustic process allows me to turn traditional or non-traditional photographs into creative one-of-a-kind artistic expressions.
