A practicing studio artist in New Smyrna Beach, FL, Katty began her art career by enrolling for two years in ceramic sculpture classes at Armstrong University in Savannah, GA.  Never in the years of attending college and getting an MBA had she ever dreamed of being an artist.  Her focus has now turned to abstract painting which comes naturally following eleven years of sculpting the human form.

Katty has received numerous awards to include over ten best in show, has shown in national and international juried exhibitions, has been published in Spotlight Contemporary Art Magazine and Art Folio 2020. She belongs to local and national art organizations to include the Florida Artists Group and Beaux Arts of Central Florida.
