Rita was a long-time northern Michigan resident and recently moved to sunny Florida where she and her husband continue to create special jewelry pieces from Michigan stones and sea glass (www.rwilberg.etsy.com). Trained at the William Holland School of Lapidary Arts in Georgia, Rita has worked with glass, stones, silver, and beads to create her unique jewelry pieces.

Several years ago Rita’s son took her shark tooth hunting and after she found her first piece of sea glass the shark’s teeth were quickly forgotten. Since then Rita has trained her family members and friends to look for these treasures and now has pieces from as far away as France and the Caribbean Sea. Each sea glass jewelry piece can be guaranteed genuine because Rita personally knows the person who collected it. She is a member of Sea Glass Artists & Sea Glass Collectors.

You can see Rita and her husband’s unique stone and sea glass jewelry at www.rwilberg.etsy.com. They have been featured in the Lapidary Arts/Jewelry Artist Magazine in the May/June 2013 issue and Rita’s sea glass jewelry was featured in the My Coast magazine in December 2016.

If you have a special piece of sea glass, Rita will be delighted to create a unique piece of jewelry for you.
